The sales process at ForgeBuild was manually intensive and prone to human error. Sales engineers relied on complex spreadsheets and phone calls to quote prices. This resulted in a high rate of “unbuildable” orders reaching the factory floor—specifications that looked fine on paper but were physically impossible to manufacture.

We developed a sophisticated web-based CPQ tool embedded directly into their client portal.
3D Product Configurator: We used Three.js (WebGL) to create a visualizer that allows clients to build their parts in 3D right in the browser.
Logic Engine Implementation: We coded a robust validation engine that prevents users from selecting incompatible features (e.g., ensuring a specific material isn’t chosen for a shape it cannot support).
ERP Integration: We connected the web tool to their SAP ERP system. Once a customer hits “Order,” the bill of materials is instantly generated and sent to the manufacturing floor, removing manual data entry.
